Information you provide directly: When you join our waitlist, request a demo, apply for a pilot program, submit feature feedback, create an analysis in our application, or apply for a co-founder position, we collect the information you provide — such as your name, work email address, company name, job title, and any written responses you submit.

Files you upload: If you use the Kunstruct application, we process the engineering files you upload. Section 4 explains exactly what happens to those files.

Usage information: We may collect basic, anonymized information about how you interact with our website (pages visited, time on page) using standard analytics tools. We do not use advertising trackers or sell your data to third parties.

Communications: If you email us directly, we retain that correspondence to respond to your inquiry.

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide the analyses and reports you request
• Contact you about your waitlist position, demo request, pilot program application, or job application
• Administer free-usage allowances and, where applicable, billing
• Notify you when early access or new tools launch
• Understand which product features engineers care most about
• Respond to your questions and inquiries

We will never sell your personal information to third parties or use it for advertising purposes.

Website form responses are stored in Google Forms and Google Sheets, subject to Google's security and privacy practices. Application data is stored in a hosted database operated by our cloud providers. We access this data only for the purposes described in this policy.

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, but no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

The Kunstruct application at app.kunstruct.ai lets you upload engineering drawings, 3D models, drafting checklists, internal standards documents, and bills of materials for automated review. This section explains what happens to those files.

Export-controlled data. Our public application is not an authorized environment for ITAR or EAR export-controlled, classified, or otherwise restricted technical data, because uploaded files are processed through a commercial cloud AI service. Do not upload controlled data. Use public, internal-commercial, or non-controlled files only. Organizations that require controlled-data handling should contact us about on-premises deployment.

How your files are processed. Uploaded drawings are converted to page images in memory and transmitted to a commercial cloud AI provider for analysis through its API. Your files are not used to train AI models. Results are returned to your browser session.

What we retain, and for how long.

• Drawings and checklists are processed for your review session and are not stored on our servers, unless you explicitly select "Share this drawing with Kunstruct" when submitting feedback. Files shared that way are retained so we can investigate the issue you reported.
• 3D models. When you upload a STEP file, we generate a converted preview file that is stored temporarily on our server so your browser can display it in 3D. That file is reachable only through a randomly generated address, is automatically deleted within six hours, and is erased whenever the application is redeployed. The original STEP file is deleted immediately after conversion.
• Internal standards documents are stored in our database only if you explicitly select "Save these for future analyses," so that you do not have to upload them again. You may request deletion at any time.
• Account and usage records. We retain your name, email address, company, the number of analyses you have run, any feedback you submit, and usage records that may include the drawing name or part number shown in your file. We use these to operate free-usage allowances, respond to feedback, and understand how the product is used.

Service providers. We rely on third-party providers to operate the application, including cloud hosting, database hosting, payment processing, and the AI provider described above. These providers process data on our behalf under their own security and privacy terms.

What we never do. We do not sell your data, use your engineering files for advertising, or use your proprietary designs to train AI models.

For pilot program participants: any proprietary design data, CAD files, PDM records, or engineering documents shared with us during a pilot engagement are governed by a separate Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) signed prior to engagement.

We do not retain, train on, or share your proprietary engineering data without your explicit written consent. On-premises deployment options are available for organizations with strict data residency requirements.

Our website may use minimal session cookies for basic functionality. We do not use tracking cookies for advertising. You can disable cookies in your browser settings without affecting your ability to use our site.

You have the right to:

• Request access to the personal information we hold about you
• Request correction or deletion of your information, including any files you have shared with us
• Opt out of communications at any time by emailing us
